Chulu East Peak Climbing

Chulu East Peak (6584m) climbing one of the popular climbing peak is situated on top of the Manang valley with awesome sceneries across to the Annapurna II, III and IV, Gangapurna, Glacier Dome, Dhaulagiri, Tilicho peak and Manaslu.

The climb is joint with the typical trek around the Annapurna, mounting the Marshyangdi valley and crossing over Thorong La, before sliding the Kali Gandaki valley to Pokhara. The climb is strictly straightforward and you should be well-known using climbing equipment. Mostly the climbing will be concerned walking roped together, including the glacial crossings.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu international airport 1300m, welcome by ART member and transfer to hotel 2 star. Bed and breakfast included.
Day 02: Free day in Kathmandu, formality for trekking and peak permits. Bed and breakfast included.
Day 03: Drive to Bhulbhule and trek to Ngadi 940m 3 hours.
Day 04: Ngadi - Jagat 1300m 5 hours. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 05: Jagat - Dharapani  1800m 5 hours. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 06: Dharapani - Chame 2600m 5 hours. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 07: Chame- Upper Pisang  3200m 6 hours. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 08: Upper Pisang  - Gyaru - Ngawal 3600m. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 09: Ngawal - Base Camp 5140m. Overnight camping.
Day 10: Acclimatize/Preparation for Climbing. Overnight camping.
Day 11: Climb to High Camp 5600m 5 hours.  Overnight camping.
Day 12: Chulu East Peak Summit- Base Camp 8 hours. Overnight camping.
Day 13: Reserve day if weather problem in summit period. Overnight camping.
Day 14: Back to Base Camp. Overnight camping.
Day 15: Base Camp - Manang 3540m 6 hours. Overnight  in Lodge.
Day 16: Manang - Ledar 4200m 4 hours. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 17: Ledar - Thorang Phedi 4450m 3 hours. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 18: Thorong Phedi - Cross over the Thorang-La 5416m - Muktinath 3750m 8 hours. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 19: Muktinath - Kagbendi  - Jomsom 2600m 6 hours. Overnight in Lodge.
Day 20: Jomsom - Pokhara 25 minutes by flight and transfer to hotel comfort hotel near Fewa Lake. Bed and breakfast included.
Day 21: Pokhara - Kathmandu by tourist bus 6 hours and transfer to hotel 2 star bed and breakfast included.
Day 22: Free day in Kathmandu hotel 2 star bed and breakfast included.
Day 23: Final departure.
