Himlung mountain is situated in Manaslu Himalayan range in Nepal-Tibet border through Nar Phu trekking region. This mountain has been become famous among the expedition climbers because of it's less expensive expedition budget than other similar mountains.
We can use local mules until base camp 4900m of this mountain to carry the foods and expedition equipment. Government of Nepal had opened this mountain for expedition after 1992. Expedition route follows the West Ridge to reach in Camp 1 at the altitude of 5600m, gradually Camp 2 at the altitude of 6000m and finally summit of Himlung 7126m. Technically it is not so difficult to climb this peak, though you should acclimatize better in altitude.
